Journal 1

             I’ve had a long hard day. But when I first started the day, I was totally unexpected the shape of things to come.

             On Saturday my sister and I went shopping at a department store in Myeongdong. She likes brand-name clothes, unlike me, so she’s really in her element at department stare. But I followed my sister around everywhere because I don’t like brand-name clothes. For two hours, we move around department store. In the end, I’m so tired that I can’t stand. So I sat on a bench waiting her. After an hour, she smiled and walked in front of me with handful of shopping bags. Only then did she apologetic and we went out of department store.

             Every corner of the street there were style of clothes I like. This was when I enjoyed shopping for clothes, accessories, and shoes. Then we were hungry and thirsty since we did shopping for a long time. So we went into the restaurant to eat something. We ate tasty Chuncheon chicken galbi and reached inside my bag for wallet do to calculate.

             On blast! My wallet is gone! This is definitely the place where I lost my wallet. I was in despair over the wallet I’ve lost. Soon I tried to calm myself down and my sister and I searched near and far for the wallet I’d lost. First of all, we were looking for the wallet at the restaurant where we ate lunch. I could not find my wallet. So we retraced my steps to try to find my wallet. We went to clothing stores, shoe shops, and department store that we have been to the places but we never found my wallet anywhere!

             Finally, I had to go back home without searching my wallet in the evening. On the way home, my sister was mad at me for losing my wallet. She gave me only a thousand-won bill and deserted me to go her own way. I called my mother then told the whole story. I thought my mother got angry but she consoled me. Before I knew it, I was in tears. I weakly went home. It was a very hard and terrible day.
